Bjorn Iooss Show at Rare Gallery (521 w 26th, ehem ehem)

Bjorn Iooss presented his series of Burlesque photographs in RARE PLUS at Rare Gallery last Thursday and of course we were all there for the opening, keeping the bartenders busy. The collection is entitled Birds of Paradise: Burlesque Portraits and it runs until November 10th. Each portrait offers an intimate look at some of the city's most eclectic burlesque performers. The photographs are as disturbing as they are full of humor and grace, a really special collection not to be missed.
