KISS KISS of the week: Lady GaGa

This week's KISS KISS goes out to someone who, at this point, probably doesn't need the shout out. We've known her since she was a wee go-go elf tottering down Rivington to brunch in her white leather knee high stiletto boots and American Apparel gym shorts at 10:30 am on a Sunday. Always thoughtful, down to earth, and just plain fierce, our beautiful friend has grown into the glossy sparkling pop confection known to the rest of the world as Lady GaGa.

Here's a picture from one of our nights out working the infamous discobra5000:

She made that herself, BTW. Major.

Named after Queen's 'Radio GaGa', GaGa is more than your average pop starlet. Pipes like Xtina, style like Peaches, GaGa offers the world a new take on an old sound. She got her start in the downtown burlesque scene and quickly garnered attention from the likes of none other than Interscope's Jimmy Iovine, who has groomed her quickly for good ol' fashioned superstardom. With the full push of the Interscope PR machine, a massive and never-ending tour , and a major-label debut boasting guest spots from the likes of Akon, it seems the only place we won't be seeing our dear GaGa is home in NYC. Homegirl even got her own episode of the Hills, and now she's got a song out on the show Dirty Sexy Money. She's always been Dirty and Sexy to us:

Come back to us GaGa!! Brunch just doesn't look as good without you. In the meantime, let's just dance.
