See Management is giving you the Third Degree.

Where were you the night of January 28th? ANSWER ME KID!!! We've been through this before and I'm in no mood for LIP!

That's right, folks, you're in for the treat that is known as The Third Degree. This time, we've got Lady Miss Tamah K in custody, and this one isn't going to be pretty. Tamah's been a bad, bad girl, and we're going to get to the bottom of it. She may not make it through this with her sanity, but we'll get our answers. Because we ALWAYS get what we want.

Enough with the chit chat!! It is definitely time for Tamah K to get:

The Third Degree

1) What/who is your biggest inspiration/influence as an artist?

Nature is my biggest inspiration, flowers, fish, birds, sunsets, landscapes...The colors and proportions are awe inspiring. I am also inspired by people and faces in general, which is why New York is such a fantastic place to be based. There are so many interesting faces to look at!

2) What is your favorite song/band right now?

Hmmm...That's a really tough one. Not sure if I have a favorite, but this week I've been listening to a lot of Bloc Party, Bat for Lashes, the Cure, Bon Iver, and Interpol.

3) What does your name mean and where does it come from?
Tamah is a Hebrew word that means pure and innocent. My mother is Israeli, and my parents met in Israel. They had a friend who was a writer named Naomi Polani who gave them the idea for my name- it's not very common even there.

4) What is your least favorite trend for this season?

I loathe trends in general.

5) What product are you obsessed with at the moment?

Right now I'm in L.A. on a job and am loving Shiseido Sunscreen SPF 50! It is by far the GREATEST SUNSCREEN EVER!

6) What's the best trip you've ever taken for work?

I would say Oahu for ten days was pretty dope.

7) What's your worst work story?

I don't know about worst...but the first thing that comes to mind lately was when the model was three hours late because she had to go to Taco Bell first. So many things...

8) What in god's name do you do to make your skin glow so?

It's my inner happiness coming through! Or... a healthy mixture of moisturizer, Omega 3 Fatty Acid supplements, and a squirt of MAC Fix Plus.

9) What was your last big splurge?

A super sexy (is there any other kind?) pair of Loboutins.

10) What are you doing tonight?

Having dinner
with my dear friend Sara whom I don't get to see much because she lives here in LA.

SEE Management is giving you the Third Degree.

Freeze! Stop it right there! Put your hands where I can see them!!

We're taking you downtown. You have the right to answer every pestering little question we throw at you with a smile.

This installment of The Third Degree will shine a big, harsh light in the face of hairstylist and celeb groomer extraordinaire Lisa-Raquel. She may look cute and innocent right now, but if you leave her alone with a scissor and comb, may God have mercy on your soul.

Enough chit chat! Strap yourself in sister- it's about time See Management gave YOU:

The Third Degree

1) What/who is your biggest inspiration/influence as an artist?

A) My big, fat paychecks.

B) Getting up every day felling incredibly grateful for the job that I have which entails being trusted to be a great artist.

C) The opportunity to constantly work with awesome and creative people. (Mostly)

2) What is your favorite song/band right now?

Kings of Leon, The Virgins, MGMT, The Black Kids. Also have a soft spot for 'Hello Brooklyn' from Jay Z's last album. I'm secretly a little gangsta.

3) What was your last big splurge?

A trip I should not have taken to Intermix. :^(

4) What is your favorite trend for this season?

I like the skinny jean which I didn't jump on when it first started so it's newish to me. I just found a great pair at Nordstrom when I was in Scottsdale, Arizona recently that cost $42! So I bought them in Black, Teal, Purple, Brown and Gray. At that price they are, like, practically disposable!

5) What's your least favorite trend for this season?

Lollygagging.

5) How does your boyfriend feel about you touching this?:

He would think it was fine, but maybe not the fact that I have Gerard's number in my phone! Oops!

6) What's the best trip you've ever taken for work?

Pantellaria, Italy was amazing: Belize was great:
Turks and Caicos was alright:

7) What's your worst work story?

A b**** of a photographer and a b**** a** art director who changed every detail of the requests they made in the morning to the exact opposite, which made ME feel like a failure, and certainly made me want to punch them in the face. Normally this wouldn't bother me, but they were f*****g b*****s. And they should have apologized and acknowledged the fact that it was them that didn't know what the f*** they wanted in the first place. So there.

8) What are you doing tonight?

Going to a Haunted House with my BFF Brent Smith.

9)Why do they call you 'LQ' if your name is Lisa-Raquel?

L to the Q. It's New York, baby.

See Management is giving you the Third Degree.

Tell us where you were the night of October 17th...And why in god's name you think anyone looks good with frosted lips!

The Third Degree is our way of letting you into the heads of our talent. Nothing is off limits, nothing out of line, except for stuff that is. And please, feel free to submit your questions for them. They love the torture!

Our first victim is none other than Mr. Mike Potter, makeup artist to the stars, and a star in his own right. Today will not be so glamorous for Mr. Potter, however. Today, someone is in the hot seat. Today, little Mikey gets:

The Third Degree

1) What/who is your biggest inspiration/influence as an artist?

Music for sure. I'm always inspired by a woman who fronts a band. From Debbie Harry and her huge cat eyes and beautiful mouth, to Karen O who is a great classic beauty when all is stripped away. I'm always attracted to a feline face and any and all things considered classic. I look to film because I love anything cinematic and dramatic. Basically, a big old over-painted gorge woman or drag queen I idolize. Which is funny because I always do such natural makeup to make loot. But versatility is where it's at.

2) What is your favorite song/band right now?

I can't even answer that. 'Cause I live in the past. I'm a huge Yeah Yeah Yeah's fan. And they have a new album coming out so I can't wait. And I get to do their makeup too. Double happiness.

3) What was your last big splurge?

Paying a gypsy (his words) to paint my bedroom ceiling flatte black. And a shiny new huge black flat screen tv.

4) What is your least favorite trend for this season?

Don't follow the trends really. So I don't know. I love everything from day-glo to classic red lips. I definitely don't love too much frosty makeup.

5) What product are you obsessed with at the moment?

For my own personal parched bleached hair I love this Japanese grocery store Camellia Hair Care oil. It's fabulous and cheap. I also love Chanel Sublimage Eye Creme.

6) What's the best trip you've ever taken for work?

Glaciers in Argentina or jungles of Belize. Can't decide. Love Harbour Island too. Hell, all of it. Istanbul, Australia. Etc, etc.

7) We hear you are launching a couture cosmetics company?

It's called Knock Out. Go to www.koknockout.com to watch it progress. First product (secret for now) launches 11-28-08 (Black Friday) at the Gary Graham Boutique in New York City. "Black" is a clue.

8) What's your worst work story?

No comment. It was truly tragic and ended up on the international news. :(

9) What are you doing tonight?

Making turkey chili and watching tv.

10) How can I get my own Wikipedia entry?

Do Hedwig and the Angry Inch for a decade. Be duped by jt leroy. Go to Squeezebox for ten years and in general embrace and love the fabulous insane freaks in this world. I always end up their friends cause you gotta like the person who's in your face all morning.
